within this image is clear to viewer that there is a evident foreground, midground and background. the foreground consisting for 5 gravestones in front, midground is old building and graves and background is the of impressionistic bushes/trees, sky and house. the background helps to frame the image and with the impressionistic trees fall within the horizon line. we also have some foreshortening in the image as you can see the road appears smaller in the distant.
the main focal point rest within the midground, the main focus point is the old building which is in left of the rule of thirds this makes it a more interest for the viewer. the roof of building has some high contrast as the darker tone helps to show that the roof is destroyed and able to see into it. on the building we have various impressionistic brick work and tiles on roof this helps the surface of roof and walls form. there areas of interest for the viewer is the large tomb in front of building and the trees as they have verity of tones some areas on the tree have darker line to help give form to tree.
there are few implied and actual lines throughout this image, the road and of roof show some actual line that viewers can follow. implied lines are in horizon as viewers can follow the tops of the impressionistic tress and house which leads across whole image. another is trees. you can follow the tops of tress to the tomb and then to building.
