Different media in landscapes

image 1- ink pen with promaker

this image is a study of archway in church, the main focus is the archway as its centre of image and most detail in comparison to rest of image. the archway has some impressionistic brick work as you can see on arch there is some lines going across the arch which represent the bricks. there is some other impressions evident such as the statue and the frame in background. there is some good use of tone with pro maker the lighter values help show the walls, the darker values on the archway show the different hue in the brickwork in archway. the is some depth in the image as we have some aspects of background such as the archways  and see how the roof curves inwards.

image 2- graphite stick

this study is of roofing of church building, this image has some good foreshortening  as we can see the beams get shorter the further away from the viewer. there is some nice shading in the image as we can see some beams have verity of tones. however the composition isn't that detailed. the main focus point here is the pillar at side of the image as has most detail and from here we have an implied line from front pillar to last pillar was as you can follow the pillars one by one and also see the foreshortening as well.

image 3- Indian ink

this is a study of an archway done in Indian ink, we have sense of depth to image, we see the shape of the roof behind the archway. also have different tones in the archway and pillar to help show darker hue in the arch compared to pillar. there is some impressionistic brick work on the archway and impression of wooden beams in the background. however there isn't much tone in the image and just has 2/3 tones for most of the objects in the scene.
