this pose is an attempt to create a far off look in the model as if he is contemplating something. there is some aspects such as lowered eye lid on right side of the image also angle of the head is pointing towards left side creating 3 quarter view of model and adds to the expression as model looks into distant.

the image has some good tone the right side of the image has most darker tones with few highlights such as just under eye, near the hair and on the nose. these areas stick out the most and become areas of interest for the viewer. we can also get indication of light source as right side of the image has higher highlight value than rest of the image showing that the light source is located left side of the image. area that needs improvement is the mouth as the upper lip is far to big and makes it look unnatural to viewer.
